Reclaimed Timber as Part of the Setting
One of the reclaimed timber structures supported the couple's personalized welcome sign, while another was used as a simple ceremony frame accented with florals.
The natural imperfections and weathered surfaces of reclaimed wood work particularly well in settings like this because the material does not need to appear perfectly uniform. Each timber brings its own grain, color and evidence of previous use into the finished design.
More Than a Finished Product
Projects like this are a reminder that reclaimed wood can carry its history into entirely new settings. Material that once served a structural purpose can be adapted and reused while retaining the marks and character that distinguish authentic reclaimed timber from newly distressed lumber.
