Urban Optics Optometry in San Diego, California incorporated authentic reclaimed wood wall shelves into a 2023 remodel to create warm, character-rich display space for its eyewear collection.
The project used 2"-thick reclaimed wood shelves in a combination of 10" and 12" depths. The shelves were finished with oil to highlight the natural grain, color variation and character of the reclaimed material while providing a practical surface for optical displays.
