    These reclaimed barn wood 3x5 fireplace mantel shelves are sourced from historic barns and other structures throughout the Eastern United States dating from the 1700's to the early 1900's. Popular locations include Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Ohio and Kentucky.

A solid reclaimed barn wood 3x5 fireplace mantel shelf, bracket mounts and hardware are all included. The back of each piece will be routed to help hide the brackets but pieces are NOT pre-drilled for the corresponding hardware, unless the upgraded bracket is purchased. Holes will need to be drilled into the back of the product in accordance with the bracket location on the wall. This requires a 1/2" drill bit. When you upgrade to our Heavy Duty Floating Shelf Brackets, handcrafted in Pennsylvania, the holes are pre-drilled for an easy installation.

Wood coloring can change the finish dramatically when applied. For example, we have many pine pieces that appear brown when oiled. We also have many that will look reddish when oiled.  Yellow pine tends to end up more reddish, and white pine looks brownish but that is not always the case. Other factors that impact appearance are the age of the piece, the environment in which it spent its life, and the overall condition.

We offer a 14-day return policy on unaltered pieces. Any items that are not returned within 30 days or have been altered in any way including drilling for mounting hardware, will not be eligible for a refund. Customer is responsible for return shipment fees.
