    All of our materials come from historic barns and other structures dating from the late 1700s to the early 1900s. Our mantels are made from high-quality reclaimed wood that has been salvaged from old barns, homes, and buildings, giving each piece a unique and authentic look that cannot be replicated. A custom letter is sent with every order letting you know the specific history of your piece.

Why should I use home decor made from reclaimed wood?

Age gives reclaimed wood more strength and durability.

Reclaimed wood has already dried out and does not need to dry out any further. The grain in reclaimed wood pieces is much denser than in new wood pieces which means that it is much less likely to warp, cup, or twist over time.

Are all of the home decor items made with reclaimed wood?

Yes, each one of our home decor will have certified, reclaimed wood as its key element. Each of these pieces are handcrafted in house and come with a custom letter telling you the unique history of the pieces used.

Are the crates sturdy enough for storage or are they only for decor?

The crates are sturdy enough for storage as well! Store your favorite books, records, and general items or use them purely for aesthetics.

Is hardware included for mounting with any of the wall art?

Not at this time. These can easily be hung with a standard sawtooth hardware.

What size are the reclaimed wood open box shelves?

Each set includes three unique sizes: 8"x8", 10"x10", and 12"x12", giving you the flexibility to create your own stylish arrangement. With our set of 3 open box shelves, the design possibilities are endless!
